Parsec's software development services include the development of DSP software, embedded software, drivers and application code. Parsec specializes in the optimization of software code for high-speed performance. For real time applications operating systems such as Linux and embedded Linux are utilized. Parsec also provides software driver development for various bus architectures and high-speed data transfer. Experience includes drivers for Ethernet, USB and PCI. GUI applications are developed in C, C++ and other Visual tools.

Using the most advanced Mentor™ tools, Parsec designs FPGAs using VHDL. Our experience includes the design of large scale FPGAs in excess of 1 million gates. Parsec has completed FPGA designs using ALTERA, XILINX, and ACTEL devices. A well-proven FPGA development process focuses on the development of modular and maintainable designs. Extensive use of synchronous design techniques and simulation ensures that timing and routing requirements are met before hardware testing is attempted. Parsec's specialty includes the design of custom and standard bus interfaces, DSP and specialized processing functions into FPGAs.

Parsec’s manufacturing facility is geared towards low to-medium-volume high-technology assembly for prototyping and production runs. High workmanship standards are maintained while special attention is given to delivering high quality assembled boards. Additional services include component procurement, PCB sourcing, component assembly and board testing. We also assist engineers to optimize their designs for manufacturability.

We are able to mount fine-line BGAs and high-density components. Our manufacturing facility is equipped with the latest fully automated pick and place machines, re-flow and wave-solder ovens, and specialized hand assembly equipment.

Parsec has the expertise to integrate various assemblies into complete systems, assemble the mechanical enclosures, insert the electronics and complete the wiring. If required, we complete the testing and burn-in cycles of the systems as well as handle the final packaging of the products
